Group 100-08: Wind Turbine Design
Thursday, April 18, 2013
Introduction
This blog is created for the Drexel Freshman Engineering 103 Design Project Mechanics lab. The project's focus is geared towards making a more efficient wind turbine. The tasks the group will have to do is to look at the current wind turbines and why they work and don't work, and use those observations to create their own turbine. The end result will be a test run through a wind tunnel, testing the efficiency and performance of each group's model. This blog will be updated weekly, as that is when the labs meet. All progress will be documented in the Weekly Progress tab. Tutorials on how to make your own turbine will be posted in the Tutorial Tab. The Biographies tab holds the information of the students working on this design project. Thank you for visiting this blog, and enjoy!
